I've been an Arizona resident for the past 16 years. Transplanted from Southern California our family moved here for career changes. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I earned my endorsement in Library Science from ASU in 1998. I earned a dual Masters Degree in Education/Library Science from Ottawa University in 2000. I've been a teacher for the past sixteen years beginning with four years with pre-schoolers, then Kindergarten, two years with First Graders and a year in Third Grade. I've spent the last nine years in the Library Media Center.

I love books, reading, and children.

I spend my summers reading all the new Grand Canyon Reader Nominees and teaching swimming lessons.
